"Comfortable 3 night stay!"
After reading the reviews between the booking and our arrival, I was quite nervous as they weren't the best, especially as it was my partners 21st birthday. But I was pleasantly surprised. Our room was smallish but generally clean, it was perfect if you don't spend as much time in the room. There was a refurb going on throughout the hotel which were noisy during the day time which didn't really effect us.. also quite a bit of dust possibly from the ongoing refurb and building work? That would be my only fault for our stay. Service was superb as well as I rang reception for house keeping at tea time and they came and sorted our room! :) location was absolutely spot on just behind the lively Rembrandt square and a short walk to museums, red light district etc.

"Trip to TCS Marathon"
There was smelling paint and bathroom silicon in the rooms. And the singel rom was to smal for dobbel bed. And one of the alivator stopt working after one day. And there was plastic still on the floors after work before the weekend. We was sleeping in a building place. We did not get any compensation for it and we had to pay for breakfast too. They should not had guests i that part of the hotell becurse of the smell.
"Lovely hotel."
Great hotel, it's cozy and comfortable. the breakfast is limited it's an okay selection. Nothing special ( no bacon or sausage) but the location is amazing. 30 mins walk to the city centre. It's also close to local amenities 9/10

"Apart from location not much you can enjoy"
This by far has the smallest rooms I have ever stayed in my life with family(wife and infant son). The location is the only positive aspect about this hotel. The room is like a size of match box for a family and will not recommend for them. The staff at reception is good but the restaurant staff is little arrogant and to our surprise they even stopped my wife to take one cookie to the room as I had to take my son back in room as he was not allowing us to sit during the breakfast. The restaurant staff present serving the people at that time stopped my wife to take the cookie or anything for eating outside the restaurant and she did not create a scene as we wanted to enjoy our trip and not spoil it unnecessarily. Overall we liked Amsterdam but staying at Hampshire Hotel was forgetful and will never ever recommend my friends or family.

Take to the water on a tour boat

Hampshire Hotel – Eden Amsterdam is in the heart of the Dutch capital, on the famous river Amstel. And what could be nicer than actually taking to the water on the Amstel? You can join a round-trip tour-boat, sail through the city with your own rented boat, or be really sporty and hire a pedal boat – fun guaranteed! What else there is to do:

The Museum Het Rembrandthuis on Jodenbreestraat is the place where the Dutch master Rembrandt van Rijn lived and worked between 1639 and 1658. A little further afield is the Anne Frank House. Here you can experience what life must have been like for the Frank family in hiding. Photography enthusiasts visit the changing exhibitions in the Foam Photography Museum on Keizersgracht. In the Oude Kerk you can view the World Press Photo exhibition each year. The Hermitage Amsterdam mounts exhibitions from the Hermitage in Russia’s St. Petersburg.
